Please! I want to share and read about gamers that played and enjoyed a lot Old School games!!
I'm being a 32 y.o. guy, enjoyed a lot playing games since I was a little boy, sadly, in my Country... not... in my province, original games almost never came, or were so expensive that was obvious for us to play Pirate Famicom games, without memory batteries on them (I never played Zelda, Kirby, or another amazing games!)
So I enjoyed with other cool titles, as Super Mario USA (Super Mario Bros 2) Super Mario 3, the whole Famicom Rockman saga (my favorite), Samurai Pizza Cats, and in Super Nintendo I played another gems as Zelda a Link to the Past, Donkey Kong Country, Super Mario World, Yoshi's Island, a lot of fighting games... but once again, I didn't played a lot of AMAZING RPG games... so I decided to play a lot of them NOW! I'm on time, so I can enjoy a lot of games, because there were a lot of games I didn't play!
Well, tell me about your old school gaming memories, or if you're playing something right now!! I love to share those things!

If you're looking for good SNES rpgs I recommend that you play Final Fantasy 6, Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger. C: And the Megadrive had some great rpgs too, like the Phantasy Star Series and Soleil/Crusader of Centy. (There's also Lunar on the Mega CD too!)
Have fun catching up!! C:
Oh yes!! I'm playing Illussion of Time (Illussion of Gaia is the USA name) and I will play Terranigma, because those are games with an interesting storyline. FF6, Secret of Mana and Chrono Trigger are totally on my list!!
Hmm... calssic games I liked...I Mostly played Sega Genesis. and some prety obscure titles at that
I liked Land-stalker actually though it did have a few issues.
The only RPG I can remember playing was something called "rings of Power" that was made by the same people that did Jak and Daxter
Oh! and Populous! I loved that game!
I'm gonna look about those obscure titles!!
So as you said, emulation, the next best thing! and better if I can play in my PSP!!
